Short Range Radio Course

RYA VHF Radio “Short Range Certificate” (Including GMDSS & DSC)
The VHF is the most important piece of equipment you will have you your boat. This 1 day course covers all radio procedures from routine calls to urgency and distress calls, and includes the explanation and use of the new GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System) requirements and equipment. When using a VHF, you are legally required to hold the appropriate “Certificate of Competence” and “Authority to Operate” licence, which this course will provide you with.
