Jersey is without doubt one of the world’s top sea kayaking destinations and
has been hosting the European Sea Kayaking Symposium every 2 years since 1992.
For those of you who have never experienced the fun of kayaking, come and try
our, easy to use "sit-on-top" kayaks and enjoy two hours of paddling around the
scenic south coast of St. Brelade's bay.
All of our kayak instructors have been awarded national coaching
qualifications from the BCU UK Coaching accreditation body.
Why is it so popular? Well, there is simply so much to see with a huge variety
of possible expeditions. No matter what your ability, a sea kayaking expedition
can be tailored for you. Novices will be taught the basics of kayaking within
the surroundings of some of Jersey’s most stunning bays.
At intermediate level you will improve your handling skills, entering the caves
on the North coast in your kayak or perhaps kayak along the south coast to
Corbiere Lighthhouse trailling the spectacular south coast. Your informative
guide will not only improve your kayaking skills, you will also learn plenty
about Jersey’s unique natural environment and its abundance of wildlife. Simply
magical!
We use a variety of kayaks depending on the type of session we are running and
the needs of the group. In our standard sessions you can choose from a number of
different types of trips, including the north coast caves, wildlife, and history
based expeditions.
